Oracle Developer - Wales. Intapeople is working closely with a local client of ours who is urgently seeking an experienced Oracle Developer in Cardiff, South Wales.
The main skills we need are solid Forms 6i, Reports 6i & PL/SQL against an Oracle database (preferably 10g) - you will be putting these to good use on their in-house Client Server applications which are then deployed across the UK and Europe.
The salary range is £35-38k depending on experience. You will join a friendly team and good working environment. The team is small and highly focused and the successful candidate will learn the applications from both a programming and a user perspective.
The role will include: Requirements capture Forms and Reports development, Ad-hoc queries and troubleshooting, Monitoring application and database performance.
Data analysis skills would be an advantage. You will need to understand the business logic so that the application logic and output can be validated.
Essential Skills: SQL & PL/SQL language skills against an Oracle database (10g) Familiarity with Oracle Forms 6i and Reports 6i Good verbal, written and communication skills Demonstrable analytical problem solving skills Professional approach coupled with a can do attitude This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable organisation, offering a challenging yet enjoyable working environment.
